That's a chenille scarf. Probably not good for Texas weather but I started it in Missouri finished it here and he said it was great(He's such a sweetie).

Love the sunglass holder. I need one of those myself. My sunglasses on in a storebought holder on the passenger side and typically fall in my passengers lap. The scarf looks like a big warm hug from someone special. He'll love wearing it!

Thanks Dawn! It was surprisingly easy to work up the sunglass holder, he needed something he could switch between his glasses and sunglasses easily when he needed too.
I'll work up a pattern to it soon and post it.
