Well, it's Halloween. I hope everyone Fell Back like we're supposed to (as in set your clocks back an hour!!!!) Yesterday was an OK day although David didn't feel good and my teams all lost their games. We went and did our grocery shopping without major inccident and/or spending too much money, got Sean's pumpkin, and made it through Hobby Lobby without buying more yarn lol. We did get some little Christmas decorations at WallyWorld though. But didn't spend too much as this week was rent week (which we paid yesterday too) and we had to send some money back east to help David's son because they got screwed by their cellphone company so we're kinda short($400 cell phone bills are NOT good- always make sure you read AND understand your cellphone contracts). But nothing to worry about cuz we've kept spending under control the past few weeks. YAY US!!!!!! I'm almost done with Belle's Poncho. Pictures of everything I have done tomorrow I promise. I got my box o' Christmas decorations out to go through and see what needs to be replaced and what we need. That'll be today's big chore since it's going to rain all day or at least is supposed to. Happy Halloween everyone! I have to add thank you's to everyone who posted comments and sent emails in support of my bad anxiety time the other day. Saturday!

Well it's Saturday morning. I sit with smiley coffee cup in hand (birthday gift from a couple years ago, yeah I am a coffee cup lover), husband on the couch awaiting his turn on the puter(he's such a sweetie, he got up after I started to make my entry so instead of shutting the windows down he just sat down and I brought his coffee to him )the boy is watching the Wiggles. I finished Hat one for David last night. I will put up pics later. I also made a decision. I frogged Belle's sweater. I decided that I just wasn't going to find the right color/type of yarn to finish it. Soooo I am going to make Baby Short Round Poncho which is a combination effort from Dot and Chelle and is so darling, Belle will look adorable (Of course she looks adorable in everything). So I hope to get alot if not all of that done this weekend. We have to go grocery shopping and pay rent today so I may not get much chance today to work on crocheting cuz there's laundry, have to do it today cuz it's going to rain Sunday, again. I want to start a project for My Secret Pal too. What is it? I'll not tell it's a secret. But it will be good and I am excited about it. Well, I'll try to get pictures up later. Have good weekends all.

Miss me?

I didn't blog first thing this mornin like I usually do. Did you notice? Yeah right... suuuuuure you did. Anyway I just didn't do it this morning. I had some really really bad anxiety going on this morning. So I just got busy 'round the house and worked on the computer some. Did some things that needed to be done on it. Like running windows washer and cleaning off the desktop and getting rid of old programs and such. So anyway I'm OK now. At least I'm not crying anymore (weird I know but sometimes when I get really anxious I cry uncontrollably for no reason). Sometimes I get really tired of being worried about every little thing all the time. I hate it and that makes me hate me or at least the anxiety having part of me. But at any rate today I worked through my anxiety, I didn't shut down (well I didn't blog which was cuz of the anxiety but that was it) I got busy. Which is a good thing. OK well... I don't really know what else to say right now. Oh except don't freak there was a problem with the volcano cam so it's down, the thing didn't blow it's stack it's just broke.

never fails

I washed a load of sheets and rugs, and hung them outside; came in, cleaned the bathroom and did two sinkfulls of dishes, fixed lunch for me and the boy and now it looks all cloudy like rain... I know those sheets aren't dry I'm gonna have to go get them and try to find room to hang them inside to dry. I hate not having a dryer grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr my luck.... EDIT: No sooner than I hit the Publish button it cuts loose and rains like crazy I run out grab all the things off the line noting that by the time I have the last sheets off it's stopped raining.... I am not hanging them back out if I hang them back out it'll rain again.

Thursday

Going through a bit of some down time... maybe the moon? Speaking of moon, we missed the eclipse was cloudy here. Gotta shake this down mood. I can tell this will be a bad one if I can't. I won't let myself get way down. I can't. OK well anyway Cards lost, knew they would...still had hoped but.... at least it was good that the Sox won cuz it had been so long, that took the sting of loss away some. Didn't get much done crochetwise yesterday, had to much to do, with the dishwasher not working it's a constant task keeping up with dishes, there's still a sinkful this morning that I will have to do. Want to finish one of David's hats or get close. Have to refind a football pattern cuz mine just isn't looking right and want to compare. Got my secret pal, so I will start looking for things for the first package(starts nov 1st), I have somethings in mind to make too.

Blogger's service to day is spotty at best. At least it was long enough to edit some things. Everyone should try to watch the eclipse tonight. I'm awaiting an email telling who my new secret pal is. I'm so excited I cannot wait. Although I feel kinda strange because here we are getting Winter's assignments and I have yet to find out who was my fall sp. Oh well Oct isn't over yet. I'm so excited about this next round I cannot wait. Oh wait I said that already. hehe See how excited I am? Maybe it'll make this day be better.

It's about time!

Blogger has been totally screwy to me today, I could not get in to post until now. Couldn't go to anyone's blog but mine, it was weird. Anyway I wrote this mornin while I couldn't get into blogger.

Well, it appears blogger has had a nervous breakdown. So while I wait to get my morning blog on I will use word for my urgent need to blog my life. After David got home from work we went and did the early vote thing, "vote early, vote often" lmao ( I shouldn't laugh, with all the talk of voter fraud that's probably the case in some places); then went to Hobby Lobby and oooohed and ahhhed over their Christmas goodies. Found some way cool things that we will probably be going back for. We did get a wreath and Sean a Santa that sits on the mantel to hang a stocking from. Of course we went to the yarn section too; I did buy two balls of thread (one green and one red) to make a wreath but now (since we bought a wreath) I may make ornaments with them. Hey they were 88 cents! I should have picked up some more yarn to get to work on the rest of the Christmas presents but it's hard for me to do that sometimes; make myself spend money on something I want. I also really need to get the what I have going on right one done too. So I will get the footballs done for the boys; Belle's sweater and Nathaniels stocking done, the special request from a friend for her daughter and David's hats THEN I will grab some yarn for the rest of the presents. Well most important are the footballs and the stocking and sweater, I can work on D's hats and the special request (can't post it cuz the recipient might be reading) while working on other things. OK I just realized I have been rambling about yarn and crocheting. The Cards totally blew that game last night... They deserve to lose the series enough said... Well it's 6:30 am my blogger dashboard still hasn't loaded. The load of clothes is done and waiting for it to get light enough for me to go hang them out. (oh joy) So I guess it's time to go run the dishwasher and straighten up the kitchen and mop. Well it's almost 8:30 am, The dishwasher isn't working. The boy is being a monster, I battled skeeters and spiders and hung the clothes out, my back is hurting like crazy, and my mood is not getting any better and my head hurts.. In fact I wonder why I even got up today.

So as you can tell my day has been a bad one. I'm half tempted to go crack open a bottle of wine and have a glass.

Hairdryers, yarn, and naps

That boy of mine refuses to take a nap. LOL Not that it's THAT much of a bother, I would just like a little spot of peace and quiet oh well. He is also highly scared of the hairdryer. I even reeach for it and off he runs. Then he peeks around the corner to make sure I'm ok while I'm using it. He's such a cutie. I've been unwinding cone yarn into some more managable balls to work on Christmas presents. Mainly the boys footballs. Have 1/4 of one hat done for David. Have two rows of shawl done. Am out of sorts today as David's work is having phone problems so I haven't gotten any emails from him. I am way to spoiled hehe I miss him so much when he's not here. We're going to go to Hobby Lobby tonight if he doesn't have to work to late. I mentioned that they had a sale and have trees 30%off... I think he realizes that when I mention HL and sale theres yarn involved too hehe It doesn't cost to look! Well gotta go check the mail.

Tuesday Projects

I had finsihed the boy's hat (I moved it up to entry just below this one) is finished. Hubby (Sweetheart that he is) requested two hats of his grey chenille that I made hisBDay scarf out of. So, I need to get busy on those, plus I have another stocking in the works, two presents, a couple of Dot's Lizzy hats, and a original design shawl I'm making to sell. Plus I figured out what the kids were all going to get so I need to really get busy. On another note, The Autumn Secret Pal Swap at Crochetville is coming to an end. My "reveal package" arrived at it's destination yesterday. Chie was a pleasure to be a secret pal for and I am glad she enjoyed her gifts. I cannot wait to get my next assignment! Sitting here with my coffee I can here my windchimes, not loud but enough to make me smile. Such a beautiful sound.

Stolen Honor

We just through watching "Stolen Honor". I urge anyone that gets a chance to watch it to do so! I pray that anyone who is going to vote for kerry to do so before they cast that vote. I've taken some slack for deviating from crocheting to politics as of late. I do so because this election is weighing heavy on my mind. I cannot fathom how anyone in their right (or left) mind can honestly vote for this man kerry. The man (and I use that word in the loosest way possible in regards to him) sat before congress and called soldiers serving in Vietnam, "Monsters". Someone told me they could not read my blog anymore because it was disturbing what I was saying about kerry. It should disturb you, it's horrible stuff. But it's true. Which is more than just about anything he has come up with. They said they would not vote for Bush as they were afraid he would start the draft(A lie always told when dems are afraid of losing an election). I would be more afraid that kerry would be getting our soldiers killed like he did for POWS in Vietnam. Not to mention the ones who were mistreated when they came home because of his false accusations. He voted against getting our soldiers serving now better body armor. Then turns around and says he supports them... How? Is he going to turncoat on them too and start calling them monsters? I'm mad. No, I'm furious. People are so blind when it comes to kerry they will only see what he wants them too. PLEASE LOOK AT THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN IT'S THE REAL kerry! I wish I could find they words to convince people that voting for him is wrong. My dear sweet husband says it better over at Shadydowns, please go read it. Again please watch Stolen Honor.

Monday, Monday

Well, yet another weekend has come and gone. Not much went on this weekend. Saturday we went grocery shopping since we all felt so bad during the week we didn't go. This cold really kicked my ass. Sunday was wash clothes and bum around the house day. We watched race. It's so sad about the plane crash, the Hendrick family has had their blows this year. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved. Watched alittle football. Baseball: I cannot believe the Cards have gone 0-2 - oh wait yeah I can lol. Lets just hope the come back once at home. Saturday during our shopping expedition we went to Lowes, they had some windchimes I was wanting but they were 50 dollars so I hadn't gotten them. Well we walked in and there they were marked down to $33! Needless to say we brought them home! They sound so beautiful. They are the big bronze ones by the little green one that David got me last week at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They both sound great together. He's such a sweetheart, so good to me. He spoils us rotten though. (not complaining lol) We got a couple things for our Christmas tree too. Getting to be that time of year, everyone has their Christmas stuff out. I didn't get much crocheting done Saturday, Sunday I got most of the boy's hat done hopefully today I'll finish it and post pics. Belle's sweater is slowed down as I am not going to have enough yarn so I am going to have to figure something out for her sleeves. Which is a real bummer.
